Owing to how brutal and strong the politics of our dear country has become,

Rt. Hon. Ogbuefi Ozomgbachi is that SOMEONE.

Rt. Hon. Ogbuefi Ora Ozomgbachi has never been an ordinary member when he was in the House of Representatives for Udi and Ezeagu Federal Constituency, that's why he was able to attract projects in all the wards both in Udi and Ezeagu.

During His First Tenure (2003-2007); He was Chairman House Committee on Solid Minerals Development. 

✅He went beyond his shores to coordinate and ensure a budgetary allocation of One Billion Naira, which made the payment of 60 months arrears of salaries/pensions of Nigeria Coal Corporation staffs and that of her sister company, the Nigeria Mining Corporation most whom were of Udi/Ezeagu extraction.

✅He facilitated airborne geological investigation to ascertain the proven quantity of coal deposit in Enugu State which led to the designation of Amansiodo and Inyi as potential coal fields. This effort also culminated into the listing of Okpara Mines, Ezimo and Amansiodo as coalfields, with proven commercial quantities and subsequently, listed in the internet among others as certified coalfields for international competitive bidding in Nigeria as well as in coal deposits fields' directory.

He also joined his colleagues from Enugu State in the Enugu State NASS members Joint Project to attract

✅N2 billion take off fund for upgrading Enugu International Airport to International Status.

✅N800 Million Ada Rice Project.

✅N600 Million Oduma Rice Project.

✅N600 Million Amagunze Rice Project.

During His Second Tenure (2007-2011); He was Chairman House Committee on Banking and Finance/Currency. He has his name in several bills and motions in the House.

✅ He attracted Central Science Laboratory in ESUT worth about 1 billion Naira.

✅He sponsored Banking Industry Reform Acts.

✅Played a major role in the formation of Assets Management Company of Nigeria.

He has several bills to his credit such as;

✅Nigeria International Finance Centre Bill 2007.

✅Nigerian Financial Ombudsman Bill 2010.

✅Nigeria Alternative Dispute Resolution Bill 2010, etc.

During His Third Tenure (2011-2015); He was Chairman House Committee on Works. That was when he attracted electricity projects in Agbaja land and asphalted some of the major roads both in Udi and Ezeagu.

He also ensured appropriation of funds for the award and flag-off of long neglected critical road infrastructure in the Southeast geopolitical zone like;

✅Enugu-Abakaliki-Ikom-Cameroon Board Highway.

✅All the sections of Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway.

✅Enugu-Onitsha Expressway (9th Mile Amansi section).

✅ 2nd Niger Bridge.
