Because of the good works of Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme, a group of young and vibrant technocrats endorses him to represent the good people of Enugu West Senatorial Districts in the red chamber come 2023.
Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme has helped many people through his charity organization, The Maurice Akueme Foundation. He is seen by all as God sent as he had used his hard earned money to help the needy and the helpless.

The most recent one he did was building of a new bungalow house for a helpless widow with seven children. This earned him the title of Oji Ulo Eme Ogo (He who gifts house for charity).


The above good deeds and much more made three groups of young technocrats, students, widows to unite together to endorse him for Senate and further pledged to purchase his nomination form.
The group, which is made up of Njikokamma Movement for Gburugburu, Enugu Progressive Forum and The Maurice Akueme Foundation came together to unite in one voice to endorse a good man whose good deeds speaks volume.

Speaking during the meeting, the convener Amb. Chris Ikechukwu Enemoh (DG; Enugu Progressive Forum) thanked everybody for being present, he further reminded the groups the good works of Chief Maurice and why he's fit to represent the good people of Enugu West in the Senate.

After which he suggested that though Enugu Progressive Forum had started donating funds for this purpose since last year but cannot do it alone. The floor was thrown open for deliberations.

Chief Offiah Kingsley Ndubuisi who is from Ezeagu LGA of Enugu State and serves as the SVP Operation in the Maurice Akueme Foundation started by hailing the founder, he reminded the participants of the meeting drawn from the three groups that before now; market women, widows, students in the MAF have been calling to know how to send such a man into a political position and that they have decided to also support the move.

The Director General; Njikokamma Movement For Gburugburu Comr. Emmanuel Onwuegbu also gave a nod. He furthered that his team, friends and friends of Njikokamma had been already on a fund raiser for Njiko.

These groups not knowing how far each have gone were at once United towards one course, hence the acceptance they are all in the same struggle to send a wonderful man; Akueme to represent Enugu West Senatorial Zone.
Others who made the commitment during the roundtable meeting includes Directors of all the groups from 5 LGAs in Enugu West Senatorial Zone. LGAs from other zones were also present to witness the proceedings among other press men.
