The unprofessional show of power by the Nigerian Military has left many patriotic citizens in a state of confusion.
Recall that the military was recorded in a viral video trending throughout the social media shooting sporadically,burning down houses and properties at the early hours of today 01/11/2021 at Isi-Ngwu, Imeama Mgbowo in Awgu LGA of Enugu State. Check below for video evidence.
The President of Greater Awgu Youth General Assembly Comr. Okolie Valentine Ebuka through a statement made available to Nedu's Blog by the organization's general secretary, Comr. Egbogu Augustine condemns the undemocratic act of invasion by soldiers of the Nigerian Army.
They emphasized on how sad they were over the incident, as it does not in any way portray the democracy the country practice and preach.
They enjoin everyone most especially the youths of Mgbowo community to remain calm and peaceful even as the necessary authorities and government agencies concerned have been alerted to restore peace and normalcy, while also calling on the state government to set up a committee of inquiry to look into this incidence and forestall future occurrence.
They assured the community that they are doing everything within their power to restore normalcy.
This is very annoying while the bandits in Northwest geopolitical region are having their field day kidnapping, killing and collecting huge Ransome from individual and government agencies.
