According to our constitution, we have some freedom, and this freedoms includes freedom to association. This rights include freedom of speech and political belonging and support. The political space of Enugu have been tensed owing to the 2023 general election. The height at which the level of this polity have been hit up to can't be over emphasized.
This means that its time for every well meaning youth who think about the future of other youths to speak up to truth and stand in path of honesty. Its on this ground that We the FEDERATION OF ENUGU WEST STUDENTS (FEWS) wishes to state categorically that we are standing with our patron Rt Hon Barr Chima Obieze on his show of truth, honesty and fairness with regards to the issue of 2023.
We urge all those hauling attack on him and his personality over his support to His Excellence Rt Hon Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi to desist from such move with immediate effect.
Everyone one including Barr Chima Obieze have right just like anyone to support any one, make decision and as well have freedom of association. We don't know the reason for the much heat and wave of attack and insults coming from some quarters.
