The rising uproar in Enugu State against the 2023 election is at its peak since Hon. Barr. Chima Obieze (member representing Ezeagu in Enugu State House of Assembly) declared support for zoning.
Recently, the Enugu State Hausa Youths Association, which is the umbrella body of all the Hausa Youths living in Enugu State, after a deliberate consultation from its members about the issue of who they will support as the next Governor of Enugu State following a brave statement from Hon Chima Obieze (Member representing Ezeagu ENHA) in which he made it clear that he will support whoever H.E Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Executive Governor of Enugu State) anoints as the next Governor of Enugu State.
The Enugu State Hausa Youths Association stands firmly by this statement due to the kind of good leadership HE Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Executive Governor of Enugu State) has shown in Enugu State.
According to them, under the leadership of H.E Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Executive Governor of Enugu) Enugu State has become one of the most peaceful state in the country where Hausa people live peacefully without any threat or panic.
And on several occasions, the governor has visited the Hausa Community to either sympathize or celebrate with them since he became the governor of Enugu State.
His hard work and diligence in providing good governance and youth inclusion in governance are the best we have ever seen in Enugu State.
The Hausa Youths in Enugu State made it very clear that regarding who will be the next Governor of Enugu State, the Governors' wish shall be their command.
