MBAKA AND THE CHURCH, THE CHURCH AND THE CONGREGATION, THE FIGHT FOR A BETTER SOCIETY..

One of the major problems we have in Nigeria is the fact that Christian religious leaders keep mute to the happenings in their environment, claiming they don't engage in political matters.

The truth is that we are all political animals, if you don't engage in politics, you have to suffer for the atrocities committed by those who engage in it.

Catholic priests in Enugu State once protested because of how they were being kidnapped, but most of them failed to talk nor protest when their parishioners are being kidnapped. This is a modern day world, it's time to change some rules and regulations, if not, the masses will fight the leaders of the church.

Father Mbaka too talk, we all know that, but at least, he talks. It is better to talk and be blamed than not talk at all.

The Mistakes Of The Catholic Diocese Of Enugu State.
If I'm going by what I heard about the incident which resulted out to massive protest and the destruction of properties in the Bishop's house,  if what I read is true, then the church didn't act right.

How can you keep/detain a man without allowing him to tell his people where he is, don't you know that people will ask questions? Why not allow him to make some few calls to let his people know that he is in a safe place?

The assault wouldn't have happened if the Catholic Diocese of Enugu State didn't neglect the fact that Mbaka is a popular person and people must surely ask about him.

The Christians we have today are the ones who ask questions, they are not like our forefathers that thinks everything church to be perfect. Many people are now bold and they obey less rules, Nigerians are even worse people to joke with these days because of the hardship in the country.

Nigerians can go any length to protect anyone who is against the politicians because of the hardship the political leaders have incurred on them.

This is a modern day world and we should all try to amend some rules or the society will help us amend them. It's time the church start taking the side of the people rather than the side of the politicians. It is time to speak up against the injustice in our lands.
