The drive to care and carter for the well being of the aged people in our society (health wise) has resulted in some young health professionals known as the GburusCare Initiative to embark on a rural outreach in Enugu State.
The group while narrating to the Governor of Enugu State their experience during the outreach lauds his rural development drive.
They also confessed that their love for the Governor and the State spurred them into volunteering for the home to home community health outreach.
The GburusCare Initiative thrives on the strength of the volunteer services of Health and Medical professionals to live up to its mandate of driving health awareness to rural areas and also tending to the health needs of the senior citizens.
They explained that the GburusCare Initiative has become a platform for them to contribute to the advancement of humanity which is why they brought their time and energy to move down to different localities in the Enugu State to drive health awareness to the senior citizens.
The Director General of the GburusCare Initiative, Sct. Darlington Ugwuegbe while speaking during their meeting with Enugu State Governor commended the Governor for his rural development drive.

According to him, their days of sojourn in the rural areas have widely opened their eyes to the huge impact the Government of the State has made on the lives of the Enugu people. Communities that hitherto do not have good roads, now have an ultra modern road network, which helped them to make their journey and outreach smooth.

According to the Director General of the GburusCare Initiative, the volunteers are motivated by their love for Gov. Ugwuanyi, the State and also by their lifetime commitment to the advancement of humanity.
The team commended the Governor for the building and renovation of many health centers across the State. They also hinted that the home to home care for the aged people is no way an addition or replacement for the health canters. According to the team, it is a special love package for older people.
