The leadership of Greater Awgu Youth General Assembly (GAYGA) has commended the leadership of the Nigerian Police for their effort towards ending the menace of cultism and other vices in the country through the Police Campaign Against Cultism And Other Vices (POCACOV).
The National President of GAYGA, Comrade Okolie Valentine Ebuka, when the leadership of the association was hosted by CSP Ebere Amarizu at the IGP Mohammed Adamu Resource Centre on the 1st of March, 2021, assured the Police that GAYGA is their strong partner towards the progress, betterment and safety of our land.

The Police Campaign Against Cultism And Other Vices (POCACOV) is a virile campaign launched by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Abubakar Mohammed Adamu, under the national co-ordinatorship of CSP Ebere Amarizu to help rescue the youths from the claws of cultism, sexual and gender based violence, substance and drug abuse, thuggery and violence, trafficking in person amongst others.
CSP Ebere Amarizu during his meeting with the leadership of GAYGA further expressed that "POCACOV is all about you" and anything that will bring positive change is welcomed, as that is part of the reason it was birthed by the IGP.
The Greater Awgu Youth General Assembly during the meeting availed herself as willing and veritable partner for such campaign.
The National President thanked the leadership of POCACOV for the warm reception stating that they would partner with POCACOV towards ensuring a more progressive, better and safer Greater Awgu land by ensuring that the message and campaign of POCACOV gets to every youths and indeed the entire populace in the 41 wards that makes up Greater Awgu.
